Signs of a Quality Insurance Company

The insurance company you choose to protect you from loss in the event of an accident or situation needs to be a trustworthy one. Know what to look for as you analyze and examine different companies and policies to ensure that you choose the right coverage.

Positive Ratings

Rely on the assessments of the rating companies, whose purpose is to analyze the quality and financial wellbeing of insurance companies. Check the rating of any insurance company you are considering. As you check ratings, compare them to learn which business has the highest rating. Higher ratings have a direct correlation with the solidity of the business and the services provided. Higher ratings also indicate entities with more solid financial standings for paying out claims.

Business Longevity

Examine the length of time a business has been operating to get an indication of the quality and reliability of its services. A newly formed entity may not be able to offer customers the same reliability and performance as businesses that have been around for many years. A recent purchase and transfer between insurers could indicate that the new owner is undertaking positive growth.

Customer Service

The services provided to customers by an insurance company will be an important indicator of quality. Optimally, customers should be able to reach representatives in a variety of ways, such as by phone, online chat, and email. The response times to customer queries should be relatively short to ensure that all questions and concerns receive a speedy resolution. Customers should also be able to reach a representative around the clock and on weekends and holidays for emergencies.

Coverage Policies

The policies provided should meet your needs, with cost effective premiums, affordable deductibles, and terms that meet your coverage needs. Compare policy terms between different corporations to ensure that you choose the policy that fits your budget and needs. Explore the claim-paying process to find out how the business investigates claims and the typical time period for payment on a claim. Find out the rate of claim refusal, also, so you know the average pay out statistics for the insurance company.

Reviews and Complaints

Learn about reviews and complaints recorded by other customers to find out potentially positive and negative information about the insurer. Find positive and negative reviews on websites that allow consumers to record their experiences for other consumers to read. These reviews may provide surprising information about an entity that could lead you to decide not to choose them as your insurer. You might also learn positive information about the way a business takes care of its customers. Optimally, the corporation you choose should have very few or even no complaints lodged against it from other customers.

Once you gather extensive information about a company, you will have the data you need to choose a quality business for your coverage needs. This will enable you to put your trust and confidence in this corporation, knowing that it will assist you financially if you need it.

Discrimination Against Women in Churches, Temples and Mosques

Every religion has a discriminatory practice against women. In places like India where the Hindi religion is practiced women are nothing but reproducing instruments similar to cattle. They are so low on the scale of importance that many female children are euthanized at birth. In China, where modern laws apply, female children are still murdered or pregnancies terminated in preference for male children. Social and domestic conditions have made it so.

Muslim, Christian, and Judaism practices are little better. Women are tolerated but must maintain a place of servitude while given only a secondary role in most things. It is only in recent times that women were allowed to even touch the altar in Christian churches for fear of contamination. They still fight a battle to serve God and administer services in the Catholic Church.

Prejudice of this type has a long history and much of it is related to stories of Adam and Eve and the role of women in creating sin. They are considered responsible for man’s lust for sex and are, therefore, forced to cover their bodies to prevent their attractive side showing. In the Muslim code this may extend to the Berker in some parts under the Taliban and Sharia law.

This prejudice extends throughout the world and impacts on the systems of finance, business, and even domestic issues where most are forced to take a vow of obedience to their husband.

Anthropology records reveal that women of older times were confined to huts below those occupied by men. In parts of Africa and Asia, for example, giving birth was so degrading for men that mothers were locked in huts or sheds until their baby was born. They had no help, no comforts, and often no food.

In New Guinea in years past girls were locked in cages hung in the kitchen of homes once they reached puberty until husbands were found for them. It was all to do with their periods in most cases as the blood was deemed evil.

In churches women were not allowed to approach the altar for fear they would drip blood on the sacred site. In the Jewish religion women who menstruate must sleep in a separate room to their husband. These are all the prejudices that have carried over in religious tradition and superstitions to discriminate against women today.

There is one more less obvious cause and that is passed down from sun-worship. It was called ‘Mary’ or ‘mother’s powerful eye’ and when stylised into a female figure men considered they could ‘marry’ Mary and reign as Father God in heaven. It is this ‘faith’ that continues to separate the physical wife from the imagined.

By confining women to the back of the church, temple, and mosque they are less likely to be noticed by the Mother God that all religions continue to worship.

Critical Thinking: Why Do Some People Only Support The Rebel When They Watch Films?

In today’s world, it is no longer necessary for one to simply go along with everything the mainstream media tells them, and this is partly because of the alternative media. This is not to say that one had to go along with what this source told them in the past, as this wasn’t the case.

A Different Experience

But while one could have questioned what they heard in the past, it would have been a lot harder for them to come into contact with different information. For one thing, the internet wouldn’t have been available.

Therefore, while there would have been books and people who had a different outlook when it came to what was taking place; it would have been a lot harder to come into contact with what they had to share. Nowadays, one can simply go online, and everything they need to know will be at their fingertips.

A Choice

The option is then going to be there for one to come to their own conclusions about what is taking place around them. If they want someone else to decide for them, they can continue to pay attention to the mainstream media.

But if they want to use their own brain and not simply swallow everything that this source comes out with, they can take a step back from this. The alternative media will give them the opportunity to see things differently.

It Still Has a Purpose

Yet even if one was to take this route, this is not to say that they will be able to sit back and to accept everything they hear. In the same way that the mainstream media can have a mix of truth and falsehood; the alternative media can also be the same.

Along with this, there are going to be sites that are more in touch with what is going on than others. With this in mind, it is not going to be in one’s best interest to go along with one source of information and to overlook all of the other sources.

A Threat

If one was to take this option and to think for themselves, it doesn’t mean that everyone they talk to will be happy to hear what they have to say. Instead, they could find that there are times when people are not prepared to listen to them.

This could show that they are talking down to people or being rude, but this might not take place. One could just talk about what they have come across, and this could be enough for people to criticise them.

Through having these kinds of experiences, it could be hard for them to work out what is going on. After all, it is not as if one is trying to convince people of anything; they are just sharing what they have found out.

Based on how some people respond to what they say, one could even wonder if they are doing something wrong. If this was to take place, it might not take long until they are back in touch with why they do what they do.

Another Response

But just because someone will respond in this way if one was to talk about something that goes against what they have been told by the mainstream media, for instance, it doesn’t mean that they will behave in his way when they are being entertained. For example, if they were to watch a film that was about an outsider who went against the system, they might be only too happy to support them.

This support is something they will experience in their mind, and they might even share their views with their friends after they have watched it. This could be based on true story, or it could be a sci-fi, but the theme will be the same.

A Powerful Experience

Whilst they were watching this film, they might have felt as though they were ones who were going against the majority, and standing up for what is right, for instance. Therefore, although they we simply watching a screen, it could have seemed as though they were experiencing this for themselves.

Once they left the theatre/cinema or got up from the chair/bed they were sitting on, they could feel happy about what has taken place. Or, they could be filled with a sense of injustice about how it ended.

Back To Reality

Nevertheless, this experience will soon be forgotten about and they will continue to go along with what they are told by the mainstream media and to criticise people who are willing to question what they hear. Thus, if someone goes against the system, so to speak, in the real world, they are not going to respond in the same way.

This part of them is going to be kept at bay in their day-to-day life, and they will be happy to go along to along to get along. One way of looking at this would be to say that their true-self is going to be covered up, and they will wear a mask that will allow them to fit into society.

The Safe Option

Behaving in this way will cause them to hide themselves, but it is likely to be what feels comfortable. When one allows this part of them to appear when they watch something, there will be no reason for them to feel uncomfortable.

In fact, it could be said that this is why these kinds of films are made, as they give people the chance to experience the parts of themselves that they have to deny in their everyday life. And, through being able to do this, they can be more likely to tolerate the injustice that is occurring in the real world, and to put up with the status quo.

With this in mind, one will need to make sure they don’t allow what people say to distract them from doing what they can to find out what is actually taking place. There will be people who want to hear about this and people who don’t.

Fortunately, one can share their views on the internet, and this can allow them to attract people who want to hear about what they have to say.

A Mission To Quench The Thirst Of Telangana

On 7th of August, The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi made his first official visit to the Telangana state. During the visit, he launched the Telangana state government’s flagship water project mission Bhagiratha at the Gajwel district.

The mission of this mammoth project is to supply clean, drinkable water to all the rural households in Telangana. The Rs. 35000 crores worth project covers pipeline connections laid across one lakh 26 thousand Km stretch. The government initially has sanctioned Rs. 4,000 crores for the 2015-2016 financial year. The project was designed by Panchayat raj, Rural Development and the Rural Water Supply Department. As per the project design, every person in the rural village will be supplied with 100 litres of water. The individual from the urban areas will receive 150 litres of water supply. The project emphasises on addressing the drought and Fluorosis crisis in rural Telangana. The project covers 25,000 rural habitats along with 67 urban habitats.

The concept of Mission Bhagiratha

For now, the Telangana water grid is depending on the water resources available from the two perennial rivers flowing through the state; Krishna and the Godavari. The water grid plan is to utilise 34 TMC of Godavari water and 21.5 TMC of Krishna water. The project also includes channelling the water resources from Srisailam, Sriram Sagar project, Komuram Bheem Project, Jurala Dam, Paleru Reservoir and The Nizam Sagar project. The state level grid project is scientifically designed to use the natural gradient where ever possible and pump water to the 26 internal grids that supply the water through the pipelines. The project has the major trunk pipelines covering a distance of about 5000 Km. Another 50,000 Km will be used to fill the service tanks in the local habitats for the storage. Additional 75,000 Km pipeline network will supply the drinking water to the houses in the villages.

Mission Flouride

Telangana is a newly formed state with its share of the grinding issues. The drinking water is still a major problem for the rural populace in the state. The people, particularly in the rural areas were forced to consume the ground water which has high levels of fluoride. A recent survey revealed that majority districts in Telangana excluding Hyderabad have ground water that contains belong the permissible levels of fluoride presence. The Bhagiratha project will be a much-awaited splash of fresh water for the people of Telangana which pumps in clean water from the Krishna and Godavari river through the water grid project. The government has ensured that the project covers all the fluorosis affected areas ensuring proper water connections. Telangana was one of the states that had severe drought. The large scale water supply will solve the drought issues in all the major agriculture belts.

Smart Water Grid

The humungous Water Grid project will use a nation inspiring path-breaking technology. The survey of the project will be conducted by using the Advanced Light Detection and Ranging Technology. The hydraulic modelling software is used to determine the specifications of the pipelines.

The state government of Telangana is adopting the international standards to execute the mammoth project. By inducing the technology, the government wants to improve the coordination and focus on optimising the human resources. The government will follow the turn-key project, meaning the organisations who are executing the projects are responsible for the maintenance as well.

Once the project is completed, it is expected that over 140 villages will have a solution for the water scarcity. The mission Bhagiratha is a revolutionary project which will ensure the state of Telangana is Fluorosis and drought free state.
